Petrie Serrano is a New Yorker who came to Georgia by way of South Dakota. She finally settled not far from the Appalachian Trail with her husband, her son, two live cats, several uninvited scorpions-- and a ghost cat named Loki who graciously takes the blame for eating all the fresh cookies. Her artwork is all about science, history, sci fi, fantasy, math, food and cats. Lots of cats. She paints in a variety of styles, sculpts Match-Your-Pet Animini necklaces, and creates and recreates Egyptian artwork on sustainable papyrus.
