Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

In the Dendera Zodiac, the constellation "Aries" is a newborn hartebeest calf, a species of African antelope. The calf hieroglyph refers to any newborn animal, and is even included in the word for heir. It symbolizes abundance, welcoming change, and ties to family. Hartebeests in particular are known for their calm demeanor. The hieroglyphs in this piece say "inundation", representing a welcome change that brings reward, and the newborn calf rests in front of growing emmer wheat beside a pool of clean water. The sky features the Aries constellation.
Originally painted on sustainable speckled papyrus in safe, modern equivalents of period pigments, this is an original design, not a reproduction, and not in the public domain. I have attempted to make sure the image matches the original on monitors calibrated to true color. The final product may appear slightly different to you.
