This hand-painted black calico kitty has a long tail, seed bead nose and eyes and a red collar with a sterling silver bell. He is painted in a traditional Japanese calico pattern signifying protection from evil.
He raises his right paw in the forward Japanese beckoning gesture and has been coated in two layers of pretty glossy protective glaze for durability and longevity. He also comes with an eye-catching cherry red 18-inch 2mm PVC cord with a sterling silver clasp and a velour gift bag upon adoption.
Six millimeter silver-plated magnetic clasps, longer pvc cords or 24-inch "dog tag" base metal ball chains are also available at no extra charge for recipients who have trouble manipulating traditional necklace clasps.
